Class

Astrocare has been a CLASS provider since the program started in the early 1990’s. All of our corporate staff have been to the DADS CLASS training conducted in Austin each year. We are active members of the CLASS steering committee organized by the Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice.

The Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) program provides home and community-based services to people with related conditions for individuals with an intellectual disability or related conditions (ICF/IID). A related condition is a disability, other than an intellectual disability, that originated before age 22 that affects the ability to function in daily life.
